2011 - An Angel's Calling helps families in need
Throughout 2011 An Angel's Calling answered the needs of three families in need during a time of crisis by providing food, clothing and funding for education for families who suffered from an untimely illness or death of a parent. An Angel's Calling was blessed with the generous donations from dozens of contributors.

March 2012 - An Angel's Calling Supports Family Promise in Phoenix, Arizona
On March 22, 2012 An Angel's Calling in collaboration with Terry Sucato from Certified Construction provided capital improvements to the family shelter totaling over $5,000 to refurbish their Transitional Housing units to help provide safe, clean and affordable housing to 8 low-income families with children.

February 2012 - An Angel's Calling partners with Make a Difference Foundation
On February 27, 2012, An Angel's Calling supported the Make a Difference Foundation by helping raise and contribute over $4,000 towards various children charities. The fund raising event was attended by Steve Heintz and George Snyder of An Angel's Calling.

December 2011 - An Angel's Calling returns to Fiore School in the Philippines
On December 28, 2011, An Angel's Calling returned to Fiore School in the Philippines to deliver a donation of $3,000. Fiore school sponsors underprivileged kids who without the love and support of others would not have the opportunity for an education. This donation was sufficient to fund the education and clothing of 30 students for one full year. The trip was coordinated by Beth Ginzinger and Ayo Reyes who have been generous supporters of our organization over the last couple years.

August, 2010 - An Angel’s Calling sponsors Boys & Girls Club of Indianapolis
In sponsorship with Accenture and with the volunteer help of several Accenture employees, An Angel’s Calling sponsored a day camp and donated toys and equipment to the local Boys & Girls Club of Indianapolis, Indiana. With the help of coordinator Dan Berenson, kids who attended the camp were treated to a day of fun and games and will be able to enjoy the toys and equipment for many years to come.

Based on the inspiration of Nate and Maysh Holobinko, An Angel’s Calling sponsored the Connecticut Children’s Foundation by making a cash donation.

An Angel’s Calling sponsors the United Healthcare Children’s Fund in Phoenix, Arizona
President Steve Heintz helped raise funds for the United Healthcare Children’s Fund and sponsored this organization by making a cash donation to their worthy cause.

May, 2010
In order to support the fundraising efforts of Oriana Garlick, An Angel’s Calling sponsored the Benda Gehling Cancer Fund by making a cash donation for a cancer walk completed in the hopes of finding a cure for cancer.

October - December 2009 - An Angel's Calling sponsors flood victims in the Philippines
On September 26 typhoon Ondoy struck the Philippines and produced 17 inches of rain over a 12 hour period. This resulted in the worse flooding recorded in over 40 years. The fallout was over 300 people dead and hundreds of thousands homeless and hungry. An Angel's Calling quickly responded with a fundraising effort led by our own Ginger Dusek and Steve Heintz. Steve traveled to the Philippines shortly after to deliver over $18,000 in relief in the form of food, water, medicine, clothing and other needs. The relief efforts have continued through the end of 2009 as we look to provide support to families who need it most.

October 21, 2009 - An Angel's Calling sponsors St. Rita's Orphanage
On October 21, 2009, An Angel's calling visited St. Rita's Orphanage to offer much needed support for young babies waiting to be adopted. Funding was provided to provide these children with the basic necessities of life - food, clothing and medical care while also providing a little fun in the form of various toys.

March 7, 2009 – An Angel’s Calling sponsors Somalia refugees
On March 7, An Angel’s Calling participated in an event to gather donations and buy goods for refugees from Somalia. This event was sponsored by one of our frequent contributors as one of her students was once a Somalia refugee that was provided much needed support through generous donations when she arrived in the United States. The event was thought of by the student as her way of “paying-it-forward” as the student wanted to provide the same compassion that was once provided to her.

February 21, 2009 – An Angel’s Calling sponsors the Robert H. Chamberlain Memorial Scholarship Fund
On February 21, An Angel’s Calling sponsored a scholarship fund at Arizona State University. The scholarship fund was set up in memory of Robert H. Chamberlain in honor of his support in the community and for the efforts he made in helping others achieve their educational goals.

December 24, 2008 – An Angel’s Calling sponsored two Phoenix Chapters of ChildHelp, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping victims of child abuse and neglect. More information can be found at ChildHelp.org. Steve Heintz and George Snyder spearheaded this event and were able to donate clothing for children from infant to age 5, over 1,500 diapers, over 2,000 baby wipes, countless containers of formula and a DVD player with various movies for each of the homes. What made the event even more special was the ability to deliver these much-needed items on Christmas Eve. Thank you to all the generous contributors that helped make this event so special.

December 18, 2008 - An Angel’s Calling participated in a Holiday Toy Drive in the Chicago area for the L.E.A.R.N. Charter schools. These schools provide a high quality public education for students of the Lawndale Community in Chicago. The goal is to prepare the students to become contributing citizens of tomorrow in a safe, nurturing environment. L.E.A.R.N. provides students with the tools necessary to create a better life and to embrace a successful vision for their futures. This toy drive was done in concert with Ginger Dusek’s fellow colleagues at Accenture – where the team was able to sponsor Kindergarten through 3rd grade students. The excitement and energy was infectious and the joy was evident in the smiles on the children’s faces. We are so proud of the generosity of so many individuals who helped bring a special moment to so many children this holiday season.

October 10, 2008 – An Angel’s Calling sponsors Fiore School in the Philippines.
On October 10, 2008, Steve Heintz traveled to Fiore School in the Philippines to deliver a donation of $2,600. Fiore school sponsors underprivileged kids who without the love and support of others would not have the opportunity for an education. This donation was sufficient to fund the education and clothing of 26 students for one full year.    Steve was accompanied by Ayo Reyes and friends who are sponsors of An Angel’s Calling and avid supporters of Fiore School.

August 28, 2008 – An Angel’s Calling sponsors “Read-to-Me” at a homeless shelter in Phoenix, AZ.
On August 28th, An Angel’s Calling purchased and donated books for a reading program at a local homeless shelter for families. This program promotes a healthy and safe environment for kids of all ages to read and do creative activities with local volunteers. Steve Heintz and George Snyder led this particular event and look forward to sponsoring future events to benefit these terrific kids.

August 6, 2008 – An Angel’s Calling sponsors a food drive for homeless families in Denver, CO.
On August 6th, An Angel’s Calling secured volunteers to donate and serve food to families at a local homeless shelter. This event was championed by Scott Gilfert, a Board member of An Angel’s Calling. Scott, with the help of his wife and children, volunteered their time and energy to help other families enjoy the simple comforts of a hot meal served with a friendly smile.
